Mr. Adeola Adetunji is co-founder & Chairman of Mvoula Group Limited, a private equity firm headquartered in Mauritius and operations in South Africa, Nigeria, Republic of Congo and Cameroun. Prior, he was CEO/MD of Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited; CEO/MD of Waveside Proprietary Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary and investment vehicle of the Coca-Cola Company in South Africa, and Coca-Cola Sabco East Africa.
In addition to executive responsibilities, he sat on the board of several companies including East Africa Bottling Company, Ethiopia; Beverage Services, Kenya; Nairobi Bottlers, Kenya; Century Bottling Company, Uganda; Kwanza Bottling Company, Tanzania; Coca-Cola Sarl, Mozambique; and Coca-Cola Holdings, Nairobi, Kenya.
Prior to Coca-Cola, he was Senior Auditor at Nexia International (formerly Spicer and Oppenheimer) ensuring due diligence in audit processes for clients (banks, pharmaceuticals, retail, government) and finalizing audit reports for client’s shareholders and relevant institutions. His affiliations and memberships include Non-Executive Director at NSIA Insurance Ltd; Central Bank of Nigeria; NIRSAL Plc; AIH Properties, Johannesburg South Africa; and Non-Executive member on the Global Advisory Board of the University of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, United States.
Mr. Adetunji holds B.Sc. (Honors) in Economics from the University of Ife, Nigeria (Now Obafemi Awolowo University). He received his MBA from Joseph M Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and has attended executive programs such as Private Equity and Venture Capital Diploma (Harvard Business School); Behavioral Finance (Wharton Business School); and Cybersecurity (Harvard Kennedy School).
